Banner Repeater and Hackney Archives

The exhibition will be on display from 5th February until April 25th.

Banner Repeater is a project space and reading room with a public Archive dedicated to Artists’ Publishing, on Hackney Downs station, and has been working with Hackney Archives to promote the richness of Artists’ publishing across the borough.  The project aims to provide a temporary platform to raise the visibility of publishing as an art form, and is part of a broader aim to introduce Artists’ Publishing within the network of Hackney Libraries, including Kim Wan and five years gallery publication; the last edition in the Public Series (5:This is not Public)  http://www.fiveyears.org.uk/archive2/pages/189/Public_Series/FYPS/05.html
